1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how WAPilot.io ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects information when you access or use our WhatsApp Business API–based software-as-a-service platform.
By using WAPilot.io, you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
Our services are intended only for users who are at least 18 years of age and who use the platform for legitimate business purposes. By using WAPilot.io, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Scope of Services
WAPilot.io provides WhatsApp Business API services for business-related communication, including:
- Customer support and helpdesk workflows
- Transactional notifications and alerts
- Appointment and order updates
- Meta-approved marketing messages
- Automation, chatbot flows, and business integrations
All use of the platform must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, Commerce Policy, and applicable laws.
4. Data Collection and Processing
We may process the following categories of data on behalf of our clients (as a technology provider):
- Account and business profile information
- End-user phone numbers and contact lists (uploaded by clients)
- WhatsApp message content and delivery metadata
- Message templates, campaign data, and automation logs
- Technical logs, device, and usage information
WAPilot.io does not sell end-user personal data. Customer and end-user data processed through the platform belongs to the client business, who acts as the data controller for their recipients.
5. User Consent & Opt-In Responsibility
Clients are solely responsible for obtaining explicit opt-in and consent from end users before sending messages via the WhatsApp Business API.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Purchased or rented contact lists
- Scraped phone numbers
- Third-party data without valid, documented user consent
Violation of opt-in rules may result in WhatsApp Business Account restrictions or suspension by Meta.
6. Message Templates & Content Compliance
Clients must use Meta-approved message templates where required and ensure correct categorization (Utility, Marketing, Authentication).
Misuse of Utility templates for promotional content, or any policy violation, may lead to template rejection, account quality degradation, or suspension by Meta.
7. AI & Automation Usage
Automation and AI features on WAPilot.io (including chatbot flows, auto-replies, and integrations with third-party AI tools) must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and must be limited to approved business use cases, such as:
- Customer support and FAQs
- Order, booking, and appointment updates
- Lead qualification and structured business workflows
AI and automation must not be misleading, unsafe, or used for prohibited content. Clients remain responsible for all automated messages sent through their accounts.
8. Cookies, Analytics & Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, session tokens, analytics tools, and similar technologies to:
- Maintain secure login sessions
- Improve platform performance and user experience
- Monitor usage, errors, and security events
- Analyze marketing and website traffic (e.g., analytics or advertising pixels, where enabled)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.
9. Payment Processing
Subscription and other payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers (such as Razorpay, Stripe, or other authorized gateways). WAPilot.io does not store complete card numbers, CVV, or full banking credentials on our servers. Payment providers process data under their own privacy policies and security standards.
10. Data Hosting & Infrastructure
Infrastructure, messaging delivery, and related services may rely on third-party providers, including Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp), cloud hosting providers, payment processors, and communication infrastructure vendors. Data may be processed or stored in India and other jurisdictions where these providers operate.
11. International Users, GDPR & Your Rights
Where applicable, we process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and other applicable privacy laws.
Depending on your location and role (account holder or end user), you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we control, subject to legal and contractual limitations.

12. Data Security & Retention

13. Account Suspension, Termination & Abuse
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in spam, policy violations, abusive behavior, illegal activity, unauthorized data use, or misuse of the platform—without prior notice where required to protect users, Meta compliance, or legal obligations.
WhatsApp Business Account approval, quality rating, and enforcement actions are controlled by Meta. WAPilot.io acts as a technology provider and is not responsible for Meta-imposed restrictions resulting from client misuse.
14. Pricing & Meta Charges Disclosure
WhatsApp conversation and message pricing is governed by Meta and may change from time to time by region and message category.
WAPilot.io platform subscription fees are separate from and independent of Meta's charges.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WAPilot.io and 7pixs Digital Technologies (OPC) Private Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use, Meta account actions, third-party integrations, or client non-compliance with WhatsApp or data protection rules.
16. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect Meta policy changes, legal requirements, or platform improvements. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
